Research purpose

I am convinced that at the heart of all great research is a desire to  tell stories.   Regardless of a methodology; choosing either quantitative, qualitative or mixed-methods to tell the story, the researcher grapples with some very fundamental ontological questioning.  Simply  in order to narrate that which is fascinating in our world.  These stories become our means, methods, modes, and norms by which we live-out and live-in our lives through our own interpretive lens of the narration.
